The crisis we are currently experiencing is multifaceted. It began with the emergence of a new coronavirus, unknown to humankind. The Chinese epidemic quickly turned into a tragic pandemic. This was followed by a brutal and widespread economic crisis on a global scale. Very recently, a social and societal crisis has been added to the economic slump. This Coronacrisis has its roots in the much broader phenomenon of climate change, which could be the breeding ground for other crises as unique as the one we are currently experiencing.
