BSI Economics, an association founded in October 2012, is celebrating its first anniversary today.

This first year has been a success in terms of the launch and pre-development of the structure:
– The organization now has more than thirty economists with diverse profiles ( 60% professional economists in public, private, or institutional structures and 40% academic economists) working in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Finland
– More than 100 contributions have been published, enabling us to build a loyal readership of more than 300 daily readers, or more than 100,000 readers between October 2012 and September 2013
– We have established five major partnerships for the distribution of our contributions (Cercle Les Echos, Economie Matin), our database (FED St Louis), our graphics (Macrobond), and our illustrations (Newsart).
– We have reached 700 subscribers to our newsletter, 200 on Facebook, 100 on Twitter, and established a presence on professional social networks (LinkedIn, Viadeo).
This second year must be one of exchange and debate through:
– Organizing round tables
– Setting up editorial projects on four research themes: currency/finance, development economics, real estate, and macroeconomics
– Publishing working papers and educational insights
– Setting up a BSi Club for members who want privileged, objective analysis tailored to their needs
BSI Economics has completed its start-up phase and will soon begin a strategy to develop and finance its activities.
We would like to thank all our partners, readers, and members for their support.
