Webinar: « Financial stability, debt, and central banks: what are the challenges? » (Event)

This webinar will be an opportunity to examine the moral hazard created by the hyper-interventionism of central banks and to understand the various challenges in terms of speculation and risks to longer-term financial stability. It will also address the cancellation of debts held by the ECB: is this a good or a bad idea? Is it actually legal? What impact will it have on the ECB’s balance sheet? Finally, possible alternatives will be presented, along with the issues they raise.
