The Steering and Ethics Committee meets twice a year to develop the strategy, deployment, and visibility of BSI Economics’ editorial offering. The Steering and Ethics Committee aims to ensure compliance with the editorial charter and the ethics and non-conflict of interest charter, both of which are based on the values of apoliticism, objectivity, and independence. The Steering and Ethics Committee is composed of expert economists from the financial, academic, and institutional worlds.

Charlotte Gardes: Academic Economist (Paris)
A graduate of Sciences Po Paris in International Economics, Paris 1 Sorbonne University in Business Law, and Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas University in Economics, with a specialization in « Money, Banking, and Finance, » Charlotte is currently working on her doctoral thesis in economics at Paris 2 University on the adaptation of financial regulation to climate change from the perspective of economic analysis of law.
Charlotte began her career in the Regulation and International Affairs Department of the French Financial Markets Authority. Previously, she worked as an economist at the European Commission, at the INCO social impact investment fund, and at the Treasury Department within the Economic and Financial Affairs Division of the Permanent Representation of France to the OECD. Her areas of interest include green finance, infrastructure financing, banking and financial regulation, and financial stability.
Julien Pinter: Academic economist (Paris)
Julien Pinter is a researcher (PhD) in Monetary and Banking Economics at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University. His work focuses on issues relating to central bank balance sheet risks and the sustainability of pegs. He has worked at the European Central Bank and the Banque de France in particular. He has been a visiting researcher at the University of Amsterdam, worked at the University of Brussels Saint-Louis, and studied at the University of Stockholm. Julien Pinter holds a Master’s degree in Money, Banking, and Finance from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University (valedictorian of the class of 2012) and a Master’s degree in Economics from Paris 1.

Julien Acalin: Economist at the Peterson Institute for International Economics (Washington)
A graduate of HEC and Paris Dauphine University, Julien Acalin joined the Peterson Institute for International Economics after several positions at the IMF, the Banque de France, and the French Treasury. He works primarily on macroeconomic and financial issues.

Mathilde Viennot: Chief Economist, French Insurance Federation (Paris)
A graduate of the École Normale Supérieure de Cachan and holder of a master’s degree in Economic Analysis and Policy (APE) from the Paris School of Economics, Mathilde Viennot is currently a doctoral student at the Paris School of Economics, where she is studying the impact of financial crises on debt accumulation and sovereign default. She also holds the position of Director of Studies in the Economics Department at the École Normale Supérieure (Ulm). Her main areas of interest are macroeconomic dynamics, the concepts of risk and confidence in financial markets, and monetary and fiscal policy.

Hadrien Camatte: Economist at the Central Bank (Paris)
A graduate of the Reims Business School (Neoma Business School) and holder of a master’s degree in International Economics, Macroeconomic Policy and Economic Trends from Paris X-Nanterre University, Hadrien currently works at the French Treasury. Previously, Hadrien worked as a market economist at Crédit Agricole CIB and was an analyst for Italy in the Economic Conditions Department at INSEE. His work focuses on analyzing economic conditions in the eurozone.

Marine Coinon: Academic Economist (Toulouse)
Julien Moussavi: Chief Economist, Beyond Ratings (Paris)
Julien holds a degree from ENSAE ParisTech and a PhD in financial macroeconomics from Paris-Dauphine University (DRM-Finance). He currently works in a strategy and economic research department in the sovereign risk sector. His main areas of interest are emerging countries, their economies, financial markets, and monetary policies. Julien is also a member of the editorial board of BSI Economics.

Marine de Talancé: Economist at DIAL – Paris-Dauphine University (Paris)
A graduate of ESCP Europe, majoring in Economics, and Paris Dauphine University in International Economics and Development, Marine De Talancé is currently a doctoral student in development economics at Paris Dauphine University (DIAL-IRD). Her main areas of interest focus on development issues, particularly those relating to education in developing countries (determinants, impacts on labor markets, financing, etc.). Marine De Talancé is a member of the editorial board.

Adrien Tenne: Central Bank Strategist (Paris)
A graduate of the École Polytechnique and holder of a master’s degree in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics, Adrien currently works for a Eurosystem central bank. His work focuses on finance, financial regulation, and international macroeconomics. Adrien Tenne is a member of the editorial board of BSI Economics.
