HERVÉ AMOURDA

Economiste, PRO BTP FINANCE (Paris)

Hervé AMOURDA is an economist with PRO BTP FINANCE. He began his career at Société Générale (CIB) in London as a junior economist, before moving to India and becoming a eurozone economist specializing in inflation. He was then put in charge of the economic scenario at the Fonds de Réserve pour les Retraites (FRR). Hervé joined PRO BTP FINANCE in 2017. Hervé holds a Master’s degree in Economics and International Finance from the University of Bordeaux and the University of California. He has been teaching Macroeconomics at the University of Paris Dauphine since 2018 (L2 and M2) and is a regular speaker at the University of Bordeaux.

Chief Economist and Head of Economic Research at Allianz, Chief Economist at Euler Hermes (Paris, Munich)

Ludovic Subran is Head of Economic Research at Allianz and Chief Economist at credit insurer Euler Hermes, analyzing macroeconomic and sectoral trends, country risk and corporate insolvencies. He was previously an economist at the French Ministry of Finance, economist to the Executive Director of the United Nations National Food Program, and team leader at the World Bank in Washington, orchestrating the development of technical assistance and financing programs, notably in Latin America and the Caribbean. A graduate of IEP Paris and ENSAI, Ludovic Subran also teaches at HEC Paris and sits on several advisory boards.

ISABELLE JOB BAZILLE

Head of Economic Research, Crédit Agricole Group (Paris)

Isabelle Job-Bazille holds a doctorate in economics and began her career at Paribas in 1997 as a country risk analyst. She joined Crédit Agricole S.A. in September 2000 as an economist specializing in Japan and Asia, before taking charge of the Macroeconomics Division in May 2005. Between 2007 and 2011, she was seconded on a part-time basis to Crédit Agricole CIB’s Market Research teams in Paris and London. Since February 2013, she has been Head of Economic Research for the Crédit Agricole S.A. Group. Isabelle Job-Bazille is a SciencesPo-IFA certified administrator, and a member of the Boards of Directors of CAA, Predica and Pacifica, the Crédit Agricole Group’s life and non-life insurance subsidiaries, LCL and CA Indosuez Wealth France. She has been a member of the Haut Conseil des Finances Publiques since March 2018.

MARC-OLIVIER STRAUSS-KAHN

Honorary General Manager of the Banque de France (Paris)

Marc-Olivier Strauss-Kahn is Honorary General Manager of the Banque de France (BDF). He chairs the Steering Committee of the « Cité de l’Économie et de la Monnaie » project, a Paris museum dedicated to interactive and entertaining learning. He is Secretary of the Board of Directors of the CITECO Association. Until recently, he was Managing Director and Special Advisor to the Governor of the BDF, with particular responsibility for external relations. From 2001 to 2017, he was General Manager of Studies & International Relations and Vice-President of the Research Foundation, except from 2008 to 2011 when he was French Director at the IDB and Visiting Senior Fellow at PIIE. Previously, his career took him from the BDF to the IMF, OECD, BIS, FED, etc. He has also been the French member or alternate on several European and international bodies such as the G7-G20, WP3, CIMF, CEF, etc. Officier de la Légion d’Honneur, he is a graduate of ESSEC, IEP-Paris, Paris I – Sorbonne (Econometrics), Paris X – Nanterre (Public Economics) and the University of Chicago (PhD core).

Isabelle Mas is a partner at Vae Solis Communications. A specialist in media relations, financial communications and crisis management, she was previously Associate Vice President at CLAI, Consulting Director at Vae Solis Corporate, France correspondent for Bloomberg TV International, Editorial Director for Bloomberg TV France and London correspondent for various French media including L’Expansion, le JDD and l’Usine Nouvelle. Isabelle Mas is also a member of the Club Mc-Luhan and of the FBA network (Femmes Business Angels).

OLIVIER DE BOYSSON

Head of Emerging Markets Economist at Société Générale

Olivier de Boysson is Head of Emerging Markets Analysis for Société Générale. He is also Deputy Head of Economic Research in the Risk Department, responsible for macro-economic projections and macro-financial risk analysis. He participates in various international financial expert groups on emerging markets. He began his career at Paribas in the corporate finance department. He has lectured at Sciences Po, DESSS (Sorbonne) and Collège Interarmées de Défense (geopolitics cycle). Ingénieur Civil des Mines (Paris, 1983), he is also a laureate of the Fondation Nationale Entreprise et Performance (FNEP, 1988), a former member of the Centre d’études secteur public-secteur privé (CEPP, 1997), a member of the Asia Centre Advisory Board and a member of the Société de Géographie.

Professor at Paris 2 University and member of the Cercle des Economistes (Paris)

Catherine Lubochinsky is a French economist and professor at the Université Paris II-Panthéon-Assas, where she headed the Master 2 « Professionnel de Finance » for fifteen years. She has also worked as a consultant to financial players, including the Banque de France (Service de la Stabilité Financière, 2002-2005), and market firms (including Liffe-Euronext 2006-2007). She has been President of SUERF (The European Money and Finance Forum), and a member of the European Shadow Financial Regulation Committee. Today, in addition to her position at the university and the Cercle des économistes, she is a member of the Scientific Council of the Unicredit & Universities Foundation and INED of LCH Clearnet.

Institutional relations advisor at MBDA (Paris)

Renaud Bellais is Institutional Relations Advisor at MBDA and Research Associate at ENSTA Bretagne. Previously, he was in charge of EU/NATO defense and security affairs at Astrium’s Institutional Relations Department, and responsible for economic studies at EADS’ Political Affairs Department in France. Renaud Bellais is a research economist specializing in defense economics, industrial economics and the economics of innovation, and has also taught and researched at the Université du Littoral Côte d’Opale. He is a lecturer at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Université Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas and Ecole Spéciale Militaire de Saint Cyr Coëtquidan.

Amélie Roux

Chief economist, St Gobain Group (Paris)

A graduate of HEC and with a master’s degree in international economics from Paris Dauphine, Amélie Roux has been chief economist at Saint Gobain since 2018 after 8 years’ experience as a senior analyst in the sovereign rating teams at Fitch Ratings. She had previously worked for several years at BNP Paribas. Amelie Roux is also a lecturer at HEC in the ‘Managerial and Financial Economics’ Master’s program. Her areas of interest include country risk and sovereign ratings, emerging countries and the construction sector.

MURIEL BOUCHET

Director, Fondation IDEA asbl (Luxembourg)

Muriel Bouchet is Director of Fondation IDEA asbl, a Luxembourg-based think-tank that actively contributes to the socio-economic debate in Luxembourg and neighbouring countries. He specializes in public finance, social security and macroeconomic developments, and is a member of the European Social Policy Network, which informs and advises the European Commission on social policy issues within the European Union. He has worked for three central banks: the Banque Nationale de Belgique (1994-1999), the European Central Bank (Frankfurt, 1999-2001) and the Banque centrale du Luxembourg (2001-2014). Muriel Bouchet is also a member of the Economist Club Luxembourg.

Julien Brault

Economist at the European Investment Fund (Luxembourg)

A graduate of SciencesPo Paris, the Sorbonne and the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, Julien Brault holds a doctorate in international economic relations. He is currently an economist in the Research Department of the European Investment Fund, part of the European Investment Bank Group. He has also worked at the European Central Bank. His work focuses on investment fund returns, the impact of credit guarantees, private debt sustainability, economic and financial history, development policies, trade protectionism and capital controls.

Martine Carre Tallon

MARTINE CARRE TALLON

Professor at Paris Dauphine University and General Secretary of AFSE (Paris)

Martine Carre Tallon is Professor at the University of Paris Dauphine, attached to the LEDA laboratory. She was previously Deputy Director of CEPII, in charge of the economic and structural policies, money and international finance programs. She was also Director of the Doctoral School at the University of Cergy. Martine Carre-Tallon holds an agrégation and a doctorate from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and has published in numerous academic journals. She is also Secretary General of the Association Française de Sciences Economiques (AFSE).
